This strategy sets out how council will manage waste and recycling services across the shire through to 2030 and has been updated following the conclusion of the Waste and Recycling Service Review conducted in October last year. It also highlights council's proposed rollout of the four-stream waste service (i.e. the introduction of glass and FOGO recycling).
We are pleased to advise that council is a Get Active Kids Voucher Program activity provider and round nine is now open!
We encourage you to get in quick as voucher applications will close once the allocation is exhausted. If your family or child has a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, you might be eligible for up to $200 to put towards the cost of your child’s registration and membership fees at Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre or the St Arnaud Outdoor Pool.
At the aquatic centre, you can put your voucher towards swimming lessons, bathers and goggles, gym memberships and aquatic memberships. You can then use your voucher at St Arnaud pool for swimming lessons, bathers and goggles.
Important Dates
Apply now at www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers and have your voucher emailed to you. Let us know your voucher code when you pay your fees and we will take up to $200 off the registration and membership fee (as well as any included uniforms and/or equipment).
Quick tip: Be sure to select us as your activity provider, even if you're planning to use your voucher in St Arnaud. We are listed as Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre and our Get Active Kids Voucher Program number is 3196655. If you're searching for us using the 'find an activity provider' option, we're also listed under the 'Multi-sport and recreation programs' category.
If you have already paid for your child’s activity you can also apply for a reimbursement, however you can only apply for either one voucher or a reimbursement for each child.
Special consideration applies for children residing in care services as well as temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants or international students. To find out if you are eligible, how to apply, what costs are covered and more, please visit www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers
