The proper management of domestic wastewater in Northern Grampians Shire is paramount to protecting public health and the environment for years to come.
The Municipal Domestic Wastewater Management Plan (MDWMP) outlines the management strategies and actions planned by Northern Grampians Shire Council to address identified issues with wastewater management across our communities.
The plan links to other council documents to ensure a coordinated and united approach to water issues over the next few years.
Council is implementing this plan in partnership with stakeholders, including the community, to achieve the ultimate goals and objectives.
Section 5 of the MDWMP requires a review of the MDWMP be undertaken at three-year intervals with results be published on council's website. The review can be downloaded from our website here - Domestic-Wastewater-Management-Plan-periodic-review-2025.pdf.
