Easter in the Northern Grampians is something many to look forward to each year with a long tradition of vibrancy, atmosphere and connection. We are excited to welcome new and returning visitors, family and friends to celebrate and connect once again all while supporting our local businesses and service providers.
All of the Easter events provide a chance to discover more about our great region and the amazing enterprises and events which call it home.
Northern Grampians Shire Council develops a printed brochure and poster each year to showcase what is on offer over the Easter weekend. Preparations have started for this year's brochure and are now looking for local content to confirm the design.
If you are planning an event over the Easter period, please complete the following steps to lodge your event with council for consideration in the brochure and for promotion support via council's website and social media channels.
Hosting an event on private property
- Promote your event in our printed Easter brochure, here. Registrations close on Friday, January 30.
- Promote your event via council's website and social media channels, here. Registrations close on Monday, March 23.
Hosting an event on council-managed property
In the event you are wanting to host an event on council-managed property such as recreation facilities or parks, you must register your event with council for assessment before promotion activities can begin. You can do this on our website, here.
Registrations for Easter consideration must be received by Monday, March 16 unless you require road closures, these registrations are required by Monday, March 2 at the latest due to approvals required from VicRoads.
Please note, you can complete steps 1 and 2 above once your event is approved by council.
