Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
The St Arnaud Community Cinema commenced operation in March 2004 and was fully digitalised in September 2013.
The Cinema is a vital part of the community of St Arnaud. Throughout the year movies are screened to appeal to patrons from all sectors of our community – young children, teenagers, adults and senior adults, organisations and businesses – as well as providing fundraising opportunities for community groups.
The cinema operation relies entirely on our community volunteers.
Movies are screened fortnightly with school holiday matinees also screened, and monthly fundraising screenings.
