Council has released its Advocacy Prospectus 2026 which outlines where the organisation will focus its advocacy efforts to state and federal governments, particularly in the lead-up to November’s State Election. Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.

We can help to connect you into health services and explore social activities and groups and support you to get started with My Aged Care. As well as volunteering options in your community, access to physical activity sessions, we support community group to promote activities to the wider community.
