Council has released its Advocacy Prospectus 2026 which outlines where the organisation will focus its advocacy efforts to state and federal governments, particularly in the lead-up to November’s State Election. Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
■ Dormitory style accommodation (heated), sleeping up to 100.
■ All dorms now have their own ensuite.
■ Day toilets & shower block with laundry facilities.
■ Large hall - seating capacity of 250 - dining capacity 120 with open fireplace and wood heater.
■ Large undercover patio area with gas BBQ & fireplace.
■ Outdoor chapel area.
■ Meeting room with data projector.
Supervision of campers is made easier by the open grassed areas, most of which are in plain sight of the hall.
