Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
The Budja Budja Neighbourhood House is located in the heart of the Gariwerd/Grampians National Park. Budja Budja and Gariwerd are the traditional Aboriginal names for Halls Gap and Grampians respectively.
Our goal is to develop a strong, inclusive and connected community amongst the indigenous and non-indigenous people in Halls Gap and surrounding areas. The House provides a range of programs, classes, and activities for local residents and the wider community.
