Council's Investment Policy is to set out guidelines for making decisions with respect to investing Council’s surplus funds to ensure that investments:● are made in accordance with s143 Local Government Act 1989● are made to maximise return on Council’s funds while maintaining an acceptable level of risk; and● to ensure that sufficient funds are available to service Council’s commitments.
