At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. From the aftermath of the 2024/25 bushfires, a group of local volunteers formed the "Halls Gap Kitchen Cabinet" to lead recovery efforts across the community. Locals look to restore tourism, morale and community spirit in the traditionally quite winter months. Glow - the winter festival is just the thing to warm the hearts of locals and bring new life to Geriward.
