Cr Hyslop has a say. "I have worked and lived in Stawell for 40 plus years and have been your elected Councillor for nearly eight years. I have previously worked as a nurse and midwife at Stawell hospital and as a volunteer nurse in India. I am married to a local farmer Colin Hyslop where we reside in Stawell with our three children Kayla-Mae, Laura and Blake. I have been a Stawell Primary School Council member and President I am a member of the Stawell Show committee and am currently Stawell Secondary College School Council President as well as dedicating my time to Northern Grampians Shire Council committees, meetings and roles. I have thoroughly enjoyed my past seven years as a local councillor, being the voice for my community, with the support of my family, friends, peers and the community. We have such a lovely shire with so much to offer, a great variety of local shops, local wineries, lakes, the Grampians, beautiful heritage buildings, beautiful parks and gardens all on our doorstep to enjoy. I am very passionate about our community and our Shire and will continue to promote and nurture growth in our shire so that our shire remains a strong proud and vibrant community."
