 Australia Day 2021 celebrations

COVIDSafe events are scheduled to be held on Tuesday 26 January 2021 to celebrate Australia Day 2021.

St Arnaud starting at 8am with a free community breakfast in Market Square, St Arnaud followed by the Australia Day Awards presentations at 9am and finishing off with a morning tea in the Town Hall.

Stawell starts at 6pm at Cato Lake with awards presentations followed by a free community and family activities including a petting zoo, face painting and jumping castle will be available for all to attend. 

Community run events in the smaller townships are also scheduled.  Keep an eye on our social media pages and our website for more information about these events.

Marnoo 11.45am for 12 noon start luncheon at the Marnoo Hall with guest speaker (David Bush Rupanyup CFA), flag raising and National Anthem. Contac: Lois Johnson Marnoo CWA.

Stuart Mill: 7pm at the Stuart Mill Hall, supper and guest speaker. Contact: Sheryn Lloyd, Kara Kara CWA.

 

Australia Day 2021 Awards 

Council assists the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) to celebrate Australia Day at the local level. Local government awards provide an important opportunity to acknowledge local achievers for their outstanding contributions.
