Memberships and fees

Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre has an exciting brand-new membership model to fit the way you use the facility. 

The new model has four categories: Gold, Silver, Bronze or Platinum.

Once you have selected a membership category, it can be applied to any, or all, of our three functional areas: 

  • 24/7 Gym 

  • Fitness Classes 

  • Aquatic/Sports 

What does each area include? 

24/7 Gym 

  • 24/7, 365 days per annum gym access 

  • Personalised gym program developed by one of our personal trainers 

  • Ongoing program check-ins with one of our personal trainers 

  • Body composition scans 

Fitness Classes 

  • Access to our group fitness classes (land and water based) 

  • Access to the fitness on demand app 

  • Body composition scans 

Aquatic/Sports 

  • Unlimited pool access  

  • Unlimited spa access 

  • Access to our Gentle Aqua and Water Aerobic classes  

  • Unlimited access to our stadium and racquetball courts 

What is the platinum membership? 

Any community member who is over 75 years of age or older is eligible to apply for the platinum membership. A platinum member will be able to have free access to all areas of the Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre. 

All platinum members will need to complete: 

  • A Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) 

  • Attend a health assessment appointment with one of our personal trainers 

  • A medical clearance may also be required 

Who is eligible for a concession membership?

You will receive a discounted membership if you have a valid: 

  • student card 

  • pension card  

  • health care card 

  • Department of Veterans Affairs card (DVA) 

We will periodically check your concession status against your membership and if you are no longer eligible for concession, we will move you across to the standard non-concession fee structure. We will give you 30 days notice of any changes to your membership fees.  

Do you still have a corporate or family membership? 

Now that our new membership model is active, our corporate and family membership options will no longer be available to new members. Current corporate and family memberships will continue to be honoured.  

Will you still offer term memberships? 

Yes, you will still have an option to purchase a term membership. They can be purchased in three-, six-, or twelve-month bundles and you will need to choose from a gold, silver, or bronze option.  

Do I have to change over to the new membership model? 

No, if the current membership you hold is exactly what you want you don’t need to transition to the new membership model. 

You can cancel this type of membership, but if you choose to renew your SSAC membership, you will need to sign up to the new membership model. 

Are the terms and conditions of my membership changing as well? 

Yes, in line with the new membership model we have revised our terms and conditions. Our terms and conditions now include a cancellation and suspension policy. Please find a copy of our membership terms and conditions here.  

The new terms and conditions(PDF, 341KB) will start from 1 July 2022. All current members who are on suspension will be contacted by our staff to discuss your options.  

Anyone who moves across to the new membership model will see these changes reflected in the direct debit cycle commencing on 30 June. 

How do I move across to the new membership model? 

You can move across to the new membership model in-person, by speaking to one of our friendly customer service staff, or by emailing SSAC at leisure.services@ngshire.vic.gov.au

Learn to swim

Our learn to swim program includes access to one lesson each week during school terms, holiday programs and swimming intensive programs. It also allows recreational swimming for the child at all times at no additional charge. Direct debit each fortnight for one child.
$26 per fortnight.

Learn to swim - multiple children

Learn to swim program includes access to one lesson each week during school terms, holiday programs and swimming intensive programs. It also allows recreational swimming for the child at all times (no additional charge). Direct debit each fortnight for the second and subsequent children.
$23.60 each, per fortnight.

Swimming - school program

Fee per child attending school swimming programs.
$3.10 each, per lesson. 

Swimming - school AustswimTeacher

Fee per hour for an Austswim Teacher for school swimming programs.
$50 per hour. 

Squash/racquetball court hire

Hourly fee, paid on attendance, to hire a squash/racquetball court. Bookings available.
$15 

Stadium - adult

Hourly fee, paid on attendance, to utilise the stadium. Bookings available.

Stadium - junior

Hourly fee, paid on attendance, to utilise the stadium. Bookings available.

Stadium - group
