Celebrate Children's Week 2021 with our FREE online art competition.
Children's Week is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and the rights of children.
Create a piece of art that represents one of the following themes:
1. Active living
2. Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others
3. Healthy places
What type of art can I create?
Anything you can photograph!
Drawings and paintings are always popular, but sculptures, digital art, collages or other mediums are welcome too.
Who can enter?
Any child aged 0-12 that lives or attends services in Northern Grampians Shire.
The art show will be divided into the following age groups;
- Early Childhood (0-3)
- Kindergartens (3-5)
- Grades 1 & 2
- Grades 3 & 4
- Grades 5 & 6
Where can I view the entries?
Entries will be presented in a 3D Virtual Art Gallery for viewing, with the grand opening occurring on Wednesday 27 October. Check back here for the link!
Certificates of participation and a small gift will be provided to all entrants.
All schools/organisations that take part will receive a gift card for art supplies.
Northern Grampians Shire Mayor, Murray Emerson will select his three favourite artworks that represent the chosen themes from each age group for special mention, announced on Wednesday 27 October, during Children's Week.
How to enter
Send a photo of your creation to email@example.com and include your name, age and playgroup/kindergarten/school.
*Artwork displayed on the website and/or virtual art gallery will contain no more than a first name and grade level for privacy purposes*
