This project will map flooding throughout the Marnoo township to inform design and infrastructure needs to manage water flows into the future.
Collate and review flood data, including photos from council and community members, impact data and local water system assessments.
July 2022 - August 2022
Use data insights to draft new flood maps and determine risk profile.
September 2022 - November 2022
Provide draft flood maps to the Marnoo community for feedback. Publish upon finalisation.
January 2023 - February 2023
Come along Thursday 28 July from 10am to 12 noon to meet with Council staff, North Central Catchment Management Authority and the Water Technology (Water Tech) Environmental Services consultant to learn more about the study.
This is an opportunity to share knowledge and we highly encourage you to bring any photographs you might have of previous floods in Marnoo.
