u3a Stawell

U3A Stawell is a self help group based on the University of the Third Age an organization beginning in France in the 1970's.

The idea then was to connect semi-retired and retired people with the opportunity to study a subject they had previously not had the chance.

Keeping the basics our U3A in Stawell has grown into a strong group with friendship our highest drawcard.

We do offer a good program of skills including Creative Writing, Drama, Traveler's Tales, Art and Craft studies and Music.

We have Book Club, Cards for Fun, Tai Chi and Coffee Club.

We like to visit places of interest, enjoy long lunches, bushwalks and Garden Days.
