The Northern Grampians Shire Council offers highly rated children's services that are flexible to meet the diverse needs of your family in St Arnaud and Stawell.
St Arnaud Early Learning Centre
An award-winning, state-of-the-art childcare facility, the St Arnaud Early Learning Centre was Victoria's first 'children's hub' to house several children's services under one roof including a Maternal & Child Health Nurse two days a week.
As part of its long day care service, council's qualified and dedicated early childhood educators care for children from birth to 5 years. The centre also offers preschool for three and four-year-olds.
St Arnaud Early Learning Centre also administers a Vacation Care program. This service runs from St Arnaud Early Learning Centre from 8am to 6pm during school holidays.
Most families are eligible for rebates. These can be confusing for families, so please contact us to discuss how to understand rebates and concessions.

Aussie Kindies Early Learning Centre Stawell
Aussie Kindies offers long day care for children aged six weeks to five years. Contact centre staff on 03 5358 4266 to discuss your childcare options. The centre is located at 1-11 O'Callaghan Street, Stawell and kindergarten sessions, outside school hours care and vacation care programs are also available.

Y Community Hub
The Y Community Hub, run by YMCA Grampians, is located at 87-89 Darcy Street, Stawell and provides long day care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Contact hub staff on 03 5358 1100 to discuss your childcare options. Kindergarten sessions are available within the hub through Marrang Kindergarten 03 5358 1249.

Aussie Kindies Early Learning Stawell
Outside School Hours Care: Aussie Kindies provides outside school hours care for school-aged children at their O'Callaghan Street Centre.

Outside School Hours Care: The YMCA Grampians provides Outside School Hours Care at Stawell 502 Primary School. The program commences at the end of school through until 6pm Monday to Friday. The children are cared for in a safe and caring environment run by qualified local staff who run activities throughout the session.
Vacation Care runs every school holiday period at Stawell 502 Primary School from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (except over Christmas/New Years). The programs are for school-aged children and children are able to participate in various activities such as arts and craft, games, cooking, excursions and much more.

Kids Matter To Venue Care Family Day Care Navarre located in the beautiful setting of Navarre Primary School.
A qualified Family Day Care Educator provides a personalised educational and caring program for children 0-5 years. Activities include excursions into the primary school classrooms for special events, special programs and visitors.
Open Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. School Holiday Vacation Care Program, before and after school care for school-aged children is also available.
