SWLPP opportunity open

Landholders will have a chance to lodge an expression of interest in person in the South West Loddon Pipeline Project this week.
Northern Grampians Shire Council and GWMWater will hold a landholder information session at the St Arnaud Town Hall between 1 and 3 pm, Thursday, 5 October.
The session will provide landholders with information on the benefits of connecting to piped rural water, the costs associated with connecting, as well as how to make an expression of interest to connect to the pipeline. This will be the last chance for landholders to lodge EOI in order to join the pipeline prior to its construction, with the project initially extending only to those landholders who lodge an EOI. The pipeline may not be designed to extend to areas where there is little to no interest expressed.
Landowners who delay commitment to connect risk the pipeline not extending to their property. Extensions of the network to service future connections will be at the cost of the landowner connecting, in additional to the Capital Contribution cost.
Landholders who are unable to attend Thursday’s session can contact GWMWater Land Liaison officer Sarah Tottenham for assistance in the EOI process by calling on 1300 659 961 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
NGSC representatives will also be on hand to assist landholders to identify their land/parcel details to complete expressions of interest.
