Have your say on community health and wellbeing

Northern Grampians Shire Council is encouraging local residents to participate in a survey that will help develop community health and wellbeing strategies for the next four years.
Council is currently working in partnership with Grampians Pyrenees Primary Care Partnership to discover what is needed to help residents live better, healthier and more sustainable lives.
Information collected from the survey will help to inform Council’s newest Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan which will be released later this year.
Mayor Cr Tony Driscoll said Northern Grampians Shire residents have until the end of February to complete the online survey, or they can participate in other ways.
“The survey allows you to answer the four questions, add your own ideas on how to improve the health and wellbeing of your community and vote for ideas that other residents have already put up,” he said.
“This process will provide valuable information for us and we would really like to see as many people as possible log onto the website at www.oursay.org/empoweredhealth/yoursay or call 90204503 and follow the prompts to leave an idea via the phone message.
Cr Driscoll said community members could also call Council on 5358 8700 to arrange for a copy of the survey to be sent via post.
