Grampians Gatherings to return to St Arnaud in 2023

Northern Grampians Shire Council has been awarded $48,000 to support the return of Grampians Gatherings to St Arnaud in 2023 through the Victorian Government’s Living Local Regional Fund.

Designed to foster opportunities for the local creative community, the event will bring the wider community together to collaborate, create, and deliver an arts and culture experience that will both benefit the community and boost the local economy.

Building on the success of Grampians Gatherings 2022, Northern Grampians Shire Council is determined to ensure that the Grampians Gatherings event will emerge as a sustainable annual celebration and will continue to partner with local community sector arts organisation ACT Natimuk to deliver an event that promotes outdoor activation in St Arnaud and surrounding communities.

Minister for Regional Development, the Hon Harriet Shing MP announced the recipients of the Living Local Regional Fund on behalf of Regional Development Victoria and emphasised her enthusiasm for regional events. “It’s great to see so many new projects on the way that will help our regions – when our regions do well, the whole of Victoria benefits.”

Initial plans for Grampians Gatherings 2023 event will see the establishment of temporary public art installations and creative spaces throughout the township.
