NGS: Greenfields Housing Development Gets the Greenlight from Council

Northern Grampians Shire Council has approved a joint Planning Scheme Amendment and Planning Permit for Sherridon Homes to develop land on the Corner of Sloane Street and the Western Highway Stawell. The council have worked with housing developer Sherridon Homes to prepare the Planning Scheme Amendment that, if approved by the Minister for Planning, will see the Sloane Street site rezoned.

Northern Grampians Shire Council has passed a motion of no confidence in Grampians Health at a Northern Grampians Shire Council Meeting, held on Monday 7 August in St Arnaud, with votes falling four councillors for the motion, and two against.

The Stawell Show Market is held at Laidlaw Park on the first Sunday of the month between 9am and 1pm

Run by the Stawell Agricultural Society, money raised from stallholder fees, the barbecue and canteen will be used to support the Annual Stawell Show.
