Over $2,000 in prizes and sashes will be awarded, including a Garmin watch for the female and male 5km winners, a $200 Asics voucher for the female and male 5km under 16 winners, and a free Sportspower drink bottle for all under 12 participants.

Schools and corporate organisations are also encouraged to take part, with a $500 Mitre 10 voucher and trophy awarded to the school with the most entries, while a wine package will be awarded to the organisation with the most entries.

Entry costs for the event include $20 for adults, $10 for children under 16, and $50 for a family (two adults and two children).
