NRMA Parks and Resorts acquire Big4 Grampians Parkgate Resort amid Grampians growth
As tourism and investment to the Grampians region grows, NRMA Parks and Resorts have acquired the Big4 Grampians Parkgate Resort at Halls Gap.
The holiday park will now be known as the NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park, becoming the 8th holiday park for the group in Victoria.
The change comes amid huge growth in tourism and investment within the Grampians region, along with some renewed production by Treasury Wine coming out of the famous Seppelts.
Statistics show that year ending September 2018, the Grampians region had the highest growth in domestic overnight expenditure (31.9%) and domestic length of stay (34.4%) of any other region within the state of Victoria.
CEO of Grampians Tourism, Marc Sleeman said, “We are starting to see increased expenditure and investment in our region, along with a positive business sentiment.”
“These increases are providing a real sense of confidence within our region.”
On the topic of NRMA Parks and Resorts taking over the holiday park at Halls Gap, South West Ward Councillor, Jason Hosemans said, “NRMA Parks and Resorts are obviously a big player in the market so it’s good to see the holiday park will still be in the hands of a big organisation, who can continually invest, renew and develop it.”
