Jefferson Smith set to rock Stawell Town Hall for Victorian Seniors Festival

The Victorian Seniors Festival will be celebrated in Stawell once again in 2019, with talented musician Jefferson Smith dropping by the Stawell Town Hall on Wednesday 9 October to perform a collection of classic music hits.

Born in country Victoria, Jefferson Smith specialises in performing songs from the golden age of music, including artists such as Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra and Chris Isaac.

Seniors from the Stawell area are encouraged to come along to this free event, which kicks off at 2pm, before being followed by a light afternoon tea.

Stawell Ward Councillor, Cr Murray Emerson said, “Our senior citizens are incredibly important and well respected members of the Northern Grampians Shire community.”

“It’s fantastic that we can celebrate our seniors through events such as this, and we encourage as many as possible to book in and enjoy the day.”

Bookings are essential and can be made by calling council on (03) 5358 8700 or by dropping into the customer service desk at Stawell Town Hall.
