Why register your event with NGSC?

Promotion: Your event can be promoted across the shire through the events calendar on this website, with posters displayed in Shop 108 Stawell, and also on the television screens displayed outside council's offices in Stawell and St Arnaud.

Safe: When you fill out an event registration form we will send this to all departments within council, including Planning, Building, Health, Infrastructure and Waste. This ensures every department is aware of what is happening and that you have the correct permits and permissions to run your event.

Support: During the planning process, we are here to assist you and provide guidance to make your event a success. If you are looking for advice, we are here to have a chat on the phone or meet up in person.

To help us create an impressive web presence for your community event, please fill in as much detail in the registration form below.

We require sufficient information to create the listing for your event. The more information you provide us with, the more likely visitors to our website will find your event and attend.

Please note that we only display events on this website that are:

Held within our region.
Appropriate for display on our website.
Registered, if required.

A member of our Community Development Team will contact you after your community event submission has been assessed.

There are many buildings council manages in both St Arnaud and Stawell that may be suitable for you to hold your event in.

Reserve booking

Cato

There are many beautiful parks and gardens throughout our shire that are enjoyed by both local residents and visitors.

Some of these reserves are available to be used by clubs, organisations and individuals throughout our community for many types of events including sporting games and training, school sports days, fun runs etc.
