Native Vegetation Removal

Native Vegetation Removal

The State Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has a legislative responsibility to provide protection for Victoria's sensitive native vegetation through enhanced operations and increased transparency of the decision-making process for recognising the environmental value of large scattered trees, endangered vegetation types and sensitive wetlands and coastal areas.

Site-based information supplements mapped information and improves the monitoring and reporting on the implementation of native vegetation removal and offsets.
