Business support program

Eligibility

Applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

Applicants must:

• be operating within, or for new businesses, planning to establish in the Northern Grampians Shire in the next 12 months
• have a registered ABN - businesses, sole traders and community organisations 
• demonstrate financial competence 
• complete an online Business Support Program application form

• not already receive substantial support from council

Applications will not be considered for:

• businesses operating outside of the Northern Grampians Shire
• projects that can be funded through other Government department programs (e.g. Small Business Victoria)
• projects that duplicate existing services or resources available locally
• projects that have already commenced
• ongoing or recurrent funding

2020/21 financial year - until funds are expended 

Before completing your Business Support Program application you must:

1. Speak to a member of the council's Community Development team.
2. Read the program guidelines.
3. Meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the application guidelines.

It is a condition of this application that any contributions made via the Business Support Grantgs Program are to be acquitted within 12 months - unless written permission is granted between the applicant and the Northern Grampians Shire Council.
