A number of Northern Grampians Shire Council staff have been recognised for their years of service recently.
In the past 12 months, five staff have reached their 30 years of service milestone, one reached 25 years, and five more completed their fifteenth year at Council.
Mayor Cr Murray Emerson said the amount of staff reaching these big service milestones was testament to the culture at Council.
“We pride ourselves on being an innovative, forward-thinking Council and some of the opportunities we can provide as a result of that are really exciting,” Cr Emerson said.
“The staff that work for Northern Grampians are committed and passionate about their jobs and it really shows in their achievements.”
“On behalf of Council, I’d like to thank all staff receiving their milestone recognitions in 2015 for their hard work and dedication to our organisation. It is highly valued and very much appreciated,” he said.
