CFA Fire Ready Community Meetings (09-Oct-2009)
Northern Grampians Shire Council is encouraging residents to attend upcoming bushfire information community meetings to be held by the CFA.
Mayor Kevin Erwin said the meetings would provide residents with all the information they require to get their properties fire ready.
“We’re really encouraging residents to get along to these meetings and get advice from the CFA on the best ways to prepare for the fire season”.
“The experts at these meetings will be talking about the new ‘Prepare, Act, Survive’ message and what that means to our residents, as well as much more”, Mayor Erwin said.
