The Northern Grampians Shire Council has recently welcomed some new faces to their Business Services team based at the Stawell Visitor Information Centre.
Debbie Bach has come on board in the new position of Events and Projects Officer and will be working alongside the community to ensure the smooth running of events in the Shire.
Business Services Team Leader, Samantha Magill, said the addition of Debbie and her role to the unit would make a huge difference in the community.
“Debbie will be able to provide people with the most up-to-date and relevant information for the running of events in the Shire. She will be able to assist with all the necessary paperwork and will help to make the process of organising an event a little less daunting”.
“Debbie will also be able to fill people in on some assistance opportunities they may not previously have been aware of, including possibilities of assistance from Council staff and funding opportunities”, Mrs Magill said.
The Business Services team has also recently welcomed Jessica McDougall as Grants Officer. Jessica will be working with Council staff to source, apply for and secure funding for a range of projects.
