St Arnaud Playgroup

St Arnaud Playgroup is a weekly informal community session where mums, dads, grandparents, caregivers, children and babies meet together in a safe and relaxed environment in the Multi-purpose room at St Arnaud Children’s Precinct. The Playgroup session is set up and run by parents and caregivers, with a range of activities designed to meet the needs of the children attending. Playgroup activities may include:

  • music and singing

  • imaginative play

  • outdoor and free play

  • art and craft

  • outings

All children from 0–5 years of age, including babies, love new experiences and benefit from developing sensory, social and communication skills through activities at playgroup. Play provides all children with the opportunity to learn, experience, investigate and interact with the environment it also allows parents/caregivers to take time out of a busy life, to slow down and enjoy playing with their child.
