Northern Grampians Shire offers Family and Children's Services that are rated high quality by the National Childcare Accreditation Council. With the inception of the Early Years Learning Framework and the new assessment being implemented under the National Quality Framework, Taylors Gully and St Arnaud will be re-assessed under this framework in 2012. This will occur under the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACEQA).
If you're looking for Long Day Care - either full time, part time, morning or afternoon, we offer flexible arrangements to meet the diverse needs of your family. All of our Children's Services provide a happy and secure environment filled with many learning opportunities. St Arnaud Children's Precinct also runs a Vacation Care Program. This service runs from St Arnaud Children's Precinct from 8am to 6pm during school holidays.
Our main centres, St Arnaud Children's Precinct and Taylors Gully Children's Centre often host visiting health practitioners and conduct information sessions for families. We also offer a Maternal and Child Health service across the Shire.
Most families are eligible for Government rebates on service fees through Centrelink.
