Grampians Jazz Festival - Halls Gap

Did you know that the Grampians Jazz Festival actually started out in Roses Gap as a 21st birthday celebration back in September 1986? Friends and relatives who made up the band members enjoyed the event so much that they reunited the following year in February for another weekend of jazz. The Grampians Jazz Reunion of 1991 attracted a further 250 people at Roses Gap.

To cater for more bands and people the event now attracts roughly 136 bands over a three day weekend and is a major element for tourism in the area.

A Day on the Green - Great Western

Stawell Regional Arts

Stawell Regional Arts brings four performances annually to Stawell and surrounds through the Café Culture series. Other performances are also provided throughout the year. These performances range from music to comedy and theatrical productions. In addition Stawell Regional Arts runs Talent on Tap evening aimed to give local people an opportunity to perform. This promotes local young people having a go to older more experienced performers.
