Pyrenees Shire Council, Northern Grampians Shire Council and Ararat Rural City are pleased to invite you to take part in the Powercor Grampians Pyrenees Business Achievement Awards 2013.
These awards are an avenue for business operators within out region to develop their business and provide an opportunity for like minded people to network, recognise business excellence and celebrate success. All Councils encourage businesses whether small or large to take part in these Awards and join in the celebration of businesses excellence.

Mix FM New Business Award - Open to business entities that have commenced operation since June 30 2011 and showcased business excellence through business development and/or new ventures.
Regional Development Victoria Innovation Award - Organisation's that have demonstrated innovation and the ability to create, nurture and develop new processes, products and services.
Rural Finance Corporation Argibusiness Award - open to all primary producers and agribusiness that can demonstrate a demonstrate to business development.
AME Systems Retail business Award - Open to all businesses that conduct retail sales.
RDA Grampians Regions Manufacturing Award - open to all manufacturing businesses large or small.
Telstra Tourism Accommodation Award - Open to any organisation's that make a positive and proactive contribution to the regions tourism accommodation industry.
SED Consulting Food and Beverage Award - Open to all businesses that offer food and beverage services (eg. Restaurants, cafés, hotels and clubs).
Tourism Attraction Award - Open to all organisation's that take an active approach to attract visitors to the Grampians Pyrenees region through their product or service.
Tourism Event and Festival Award - Recognises the contribution made by committees and organisation's in developing an outstanding community event or festival for the region to enjoy. Aimed at events and festivals that cater for tourism and attract crowds in excess of 500 people.
Community Event Award - Recognises the contribution made by community groups that hosted an intimate event (participants of 500 and below) for the better of the community ie. Fundraiser for charity.
WorkCo Apprentice or Trainee or the Year - Recognises achievements of an apprentice or trainee. All entrants must be nominated by their employer.
Simpson Personnel Employee of the Year - Recognises achievements of an individual employee within the workplace. Entrants must be nominated by their employer.
